Atin Atin Lang

May sikreto ako. Di ko sasabihin. Next time na lang.

Bakit? Bakit Hindi? Mudra To The Rescue

Everyone is talking Janina San Miguel.

Tama na. Di ko na kayang mag-English. Actually, it’s my first time to sulat an entry in English.

Yung research paper ko, di pa tapos. Bahala na.

Magbabakasyon ako sa bahay this Holy Week. Oo, bakasyon.

After Holy Week is finals week. Every day, may test yata ako, including the defense of my research pare na di ko pa rin matapos/masimulan.

As in.

Either Film or Statistics.

Bakit Film? Bakit Hindi Film?

Interesado talaga ako sa Film ever since.

Leche. Nakatulong talaga si mudra. Nakatulong sa panggugulko sa utak ko.

Ako? Papasok sa PMMA? No way! As in! Magkakalakal na lang ako ng bote, no!

Katatapos lang ng Bb. Pilipinas.

I think beauty contests here in our country is back in a stunning way with the eventual Ms. World Janina San Miguel.

The girl is 17 years old. A first timer in a beauty pageant makes it difficult and more changelling for her.

After giving a not so impressive answer to a simple question, the audience, and the viewers were in state of shock.

And yet, she went home and had the last laugh. She will vying for the Ms. World.

Janina is entirely different to last year’s Bb. Pilipinas World Maggie Wilson, needless to say.

Maggie was so confident then but went home with nothing.

As of this moment, I am still thinking if she (Janina) can win or at least have a serious shot at the Miss World.

Let’s hope she can.

Do you think it’s already time that we bring in interpreters for international beauty contests?

Well, it’s simple. Janina answered my question.

Still Breathing Life

After Rico Blanco’s departure fro Rivermaya, many people doubt if they can still live up to the expectations as “Banda ng Bayan”

Last October, they acquired Jason Fernandez, an 18-year old probinsiyano, to do the vocals and guitars.

And now, Rivermaya has come back in the local music mainstream, with the release of their album Buhay.

One of its tracks is Sugal ng Kapalaran, which I admit is one of my favorite OPM songs of all time.

The song is simply stunning which shows the band’s class despite continuous revamp on their members . It further establishes them as one of the local music’s cornerstones. Establishing them as one of the greatest in music industry, not just cute guys on the block.

After all, Rivermaya is still breathing life.
