I think beauty contests here in our country is back in a stunning way with the eventual Ms. World Janina San Miguel.
The girl is 17 years old. A first timer in a beauty pageant makes it difficult and more changelling for her.
After giving a not so impressive answer to a simple question, the audience, and the viewers were in state of shock.
And yet, she went home and had the last laugh. She will vying for the Ms. World.
Janina is entirely different to last year’s Bb. Pilipinas World Maggie Wilson, needless to say.
Maggie was so confident then but went home with nothing.
As of this moment, I am still thinking if she (Janina) can win or at least have a serious shot at the Miss World.
Let’s hope she can.
Do you think it’s already time that we bring in interpreters for international beauty contests?
Well, it’s simple. Janina answered my question.
bakit nga ba hindi, pwede naman magdala nga ng interpreter sa international beauty contests di ba? masyado natin ginagamit ang English, kung di naman tayo fluent, use our native tongue di ba hehe, sana manalo nga siya, Its for the Philippines naman not for herself alone, at least if manalo siya, vindication na sa pagkakamali niya sa local pageant….
sana nga may sumagot ng isang straight at medyo malalim na tagalog sa pageant na yan par a maipakita natin sa mundo na ipinagmamalaki din natin ang sarili nating wika.
basta natalo pa ni Janina ang lahat ng funny bloggers sa pagpapatawa….hehe..dinaig pa si inday na number one spot sa pinoy humor blogs…anyways………..im in taft ten!lols
